Hi, I’m Katie the owner of Ladybird Sugaring and Esthetics. I have been studying the art of holistic hair removal and skin for the past 6 years and I love helping people. I deeply understand that ones rituals with their own body hair is very personal and unique.

I am here to help and educate you along that way. My approach to skincare and hair removal is holistic and I believe that healthy skin and hair care routines provide the best results for you and your body. Learning to sugar has been such a gift to me and I am thrilled to welcome you Ladybird.

Stop the use of Retinol, Differin, Retin A or other skin thinning products 7 days prior to your sugaring appointment.

Come in with clean skin without the use of deodorant, lotion, oils or makeup for best results.

Exfoliation and moisturizing matters! Please exfoliate 48 hours prior to the appointment for best results.

Ditch the coffee before the appointment and opt for some water.

Hair needs to be at least 1/4 inch long, about the size of a grain of rice. If you have been shaving wait 10-14 days since your last shave to book an appointment.

After Care

After Care is important to maintain healthy skin and best results with sugaring. Regular exfoliation and hydration of the skin is recommended to everyone. This will soften the skin, the hair and make for an easier and less painful experience.

Be gentle with your skin.

Avoid direct sun exposure, heat inducing activates and heavy exercise.

After 48 hours, I recommend exfoliating the skin that has been sugared. This will remove dead skin cells that build up and help prevent ingrown hairs from happening.

Always hydrate your skin after exfoliation, this helps regenerate new skin and a healthy skin barrier. I recommend using products designed specifically for hair removal such as FUR OIL products. Grapeseed and jojoba oil work very well also.

cancellation Policy

Please arrive on time and allow time for parking and using the restroom if needed. Showing up late will result in a modified treatment charged at full cost.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment date will be charged 50% of the appointment total regardless of the reason.
